New technical plant manager at head of Bosch automotive parts plant in Miskolc

Miskolc – a new technical plant manager for Robert Bosch Energy and Body Systems Kft. in Miskolc was appointed in April. Roland Ahl now heads the plant together with Dr. Frank-Stephan Kupfer, who remains as commercial plant manager. Ahl said, “To work for Bosch is more than a job, it is a profession. As the leading developer of technologies of the future, we are always striving for innovation and continuous improvement.”

Competence, continuous development, sense of mission
The forty-nine-year-old manager started work at Bosch twenty-four years ago. Before his appointment in Hungary, he was Vice President in Immenstadt, Germany. Prior to that, he worked in the areas of production and controlling. “To work in a new position is always a new chapter our life and career, where we definitely experience a few challenges. One of the strengths of our company is that we are looking for further development and embrace changes as new opportunities. This is also part of my own personal motivation,” said Ahl.

Robert Bosch Energy and Body Systems Kft. was set up in 2003, and now employs more than 2200 associates. It is the Bosch Group’s largest automotive electric drives plant in Europe. Among the automotive parts, relays and electric drives produced in this central facility are various air-conditioning units, electric motors, window wiper systems, brake assistance motors and electronic stability controllers, essential components of hybrid and electric cars.
